1. Opening Up:

Start by removing screws from the top left corner using the Phillips 1.5mm. The screws at the top are generally longer, so make sure to keep them separately. Here’s a tip: Print a picture of the laptop’s back and place the removed screws on it. This way, you’ll know which screw goes where when reassembling.

2. Unveiling the Battery:

After removing the back cover, you’ll first notice the battery. Disconnect the battery connector by sliding it down. Then, unscrew and remove the battery.

3. Addressing the Hard Drive:

Before going any further, it’s time to tackle the M.2 SSD drives. The heat sink covers them. Once the heatsink is off, you’ll notice not one but two M.2 slots. One of mine is occupied by a 1TB M.2 SSD.
